Building Healthier Communities in Chicago

The Local Lunchbox Program connects small food businesses with community organizations to serve delicious, locally-made meals to youth 18 and under – and, it’s all paid for by the USDA. Local Lunchbox was born in Boston, Massachusetts in 2020 and is expanding to Chicago this summer with the support of the Obama Foundation. We’re delighted to feed children across the city in collaboration with a network of outstanding community partners and local minority-owned businesses.
